The Best Museums and Attractions to Check Out in Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City, OK has a whole host of museums and other attractions where you can discover the richness of our history, culture, and a whole bunch of other cool details that make our city a great place to live. After you get yourself accustomed to your new routine, you have to take some time to check out the following museums and exhibits:

  • Museum of Osteology – If you or your kids are interested in how the skeletal system works, then this is the place for you. You can see how the skeletons of various animals and humans are connected, and how each of the parts work with each other.   • Oklahoma History Center – Discover the history of Oklahoma from its pre-state days all the way up to the present. You’ll find plenty of relics from the past, including items detailing the Native Americans, lawmen, space programs, and pretty much anything else dealing with our great state. You can easily find out about our heritage over the course of several hours.


After taking a few hours touring these places, you’ll have a much better understanding for Oklahoma City. You’ll be more acclimated to the city, and you’ll have a better connection to the rich history that has created our wonderful home.
